This Cancellation Policy (the "Policy") governs the terms and conditions under which customers may cancel a haul request made through our platform. By using our services, customers agree to be bound by the terms of this Policy.
- Customer Cancellations:
- Customers may cancel a haul at any time before the hauler begins transit toward the pickup location. Once the hauler has commenced movement toward the pickup point, cancellations shall no longer be permitted.
- Customers may cancel a pending haul at any time without incurring any charges.
- If a haul has been accepted by the hauler, cancellation charges shall apply. These charges are determined based on factors including, but not limited to, the hauler's quoted price and the time at which the cancellation is requested.
- The applicable cancellation charges will be explicitly displayed to the customer at the time of the cancellation request. Cancellation fees may range from five percent (5%) to fifty percent (50%) of the total haul cost, depending on the timing of the cancellation.
- Hauler Cancellations:
- In the event that a hauler cancels a haul, whether before or after the commencement of transit, the customer shall be entitled to a full refund, exclusive of any transaction processing fees imposed by financial institutions or third-party payment processors.
- The company shall not be held liable for any consequential damages arising from hauler-initiated cancellations beyond the refund of the haul amount minus transaction fees.
- Refund Processing:
- Refunds will be processed to the original payment method used by the customer, unless the customer opts to hold the refunded amount as a credit for a future haul.
- The time required for the refund to be credited may vary depending on the policies of the customer's financial institution, payment processor, or card issuer.
- The company is not responsible for any delays caused by third-party financial institutions in processing refunds.
- Limitation of Liability:
- The company reserves the right to modify or amend this Policy at any time without prior notice, except where required by law.
- This Policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the applicable laws of the jurisdiction in which the company operates.
- Any disputes arising under this Policy shall be resolved through binding arbitration or mediation, as deemed appropriate by the company, in accordance with the governing law.
